About

My name is Geoff Tutt, and I set up GloWell Gas & Heating Services in 2016.

My background is mechanical and electrical engineering, but I have spent a large part of my working life in sales and management of one sort or another, for some very familiar names like Velux, Carlsberg, Vimto, and latterly Cornelius Beverage Technologies.

At some time along the way I wanted to expand my engineering knowledge, and ‘dipped a toe’ as it were into Environmental Engineering, studying Environmental Science with the OU to achieve a BSc(Hons) Degree in 2012.

Providing an engineering-based customer service is a perfect fit for someone with my background.

At GloWell our mission is to build a reputation of providing a fast, efficient and personable heating and plumbing service to the local community.

Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas applicances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register which replaced the old CORGI governing body.

We endeavour to keep you informed of progress every step of the way.

Furthermore we always respect it is your home we are working in. We work neatly and tidily, using protective coverings where necessary, and will always leave your property in a clean and tidy condition.

Safety when working in your home is paramount to us at GloWell Gas & Heating Services. Where applicable we will carry out any relevant Risk Assessment and discuss any areas of concern with you.

Reliable

At GloWell we strive to reply to any enquiry promptly, and if we can’t immediately help you over the telephone, we will offer you a scheduled appointment with a one-hour window.

If you are ok for us to call in normal working hours there’s no call out charge, and after a brief assessment and if at all possible, we will offer you an estimate for repairs there and then, without any obligation.

We won’t use jargon or trade-specific terminology, just a plain and clear description of what the problem is and how best to rectify it.

Above all, you can be assured of attentive and professional service at all times.

Geoff worked all afternoon and late into the evening in appalling weather conditions to make sure we could get our heating back on. Geoff was incredibly kind and professional despite working under such conditions – I couldn’t recommend Glowell more.
